Legal & Valuation Fees

At Affirmative you can rest assured that we will never charge you anything up front – your fees to us are only payable once your loan completes. We do not believe in up front application and site visit fees.

Our solicitors charge a fixed fee for the legal services they provide in setting up your loan. This includes all VAT and expenses, so there are no hidden costs or add-ons later on. If you choose, this sum can be added to your loan. As part of the lending process your property will need to be valued by a professional valuer or we may be able to utilise an Automated Valuation Model (AVM). If a professional valuer is instructed there are no administration fees or extra charges from us – the cost goes directly to the valuer or panel manager.
